Terms of Use

These terms apply to your use of the Ember website at ember.io (and related marketing pages we operate here). They are meant to be readable. If something here conflicts with a separate agreement you sign with us later, that agreement wins for what it covers.

Using this site

By using the site, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the site. You must follow applicable laws and avoid harming the site or other people (for example, no scraping that degrades the service, no illegal content in messages you send us, no attempt to break security).

Informational site

This website describes Ember and related ideas. It is not legal, financial, or professional advice. Product availability, features, and timelines on the site may change. Early-access or beta software, when offered, may behave differently from marketing copy. Nothing here is a promise of performance until we put it in a contract with you.

Intellectual property

The site content (text, branding, layout, and original visuals we provide) belongs to Ember or our licensors. You may browse and share links in normal ways. You may not copy, modify, or redistribute our materials for commercial use without permission, except where allowed by law.

Third-party links

The site may link to other websites or services. We do not control them. Their terms and privacy policies apply there. We are not responsible for third-party content or practices.

Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The site is provided as is. To the fullest extent allowed by law, Ember and our team disclaim warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose. We do not warrant uninterrupted or error-free operation.

To the fullest extent allowed by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for loss of profits, data, or goodwill, arising from your use of the site. Our total liability for any claim related to the site is limited to fifty US dollars or the amount you paid us for use of the site in the twelve months before the claim, whichever is greater. Some places do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the minimum permitted by law.

Children

The site is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Changes

We may update these terms. The current version will always be posted here. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated terms.
